Great morning for a walk.

Yesterday’s ultrasound revealed we are having a girl.

For the second year in a row we got tickets to Picnic with the Pops this time both of Rebecca’s parents made it, last year only Larry came with us. This year a few more were in attendance probably due to the nicer weather over last. We announced over the 4th of July weekend that we are expecting, see previous post. Doctors appointments are going good. Rebecca and I ordered a crib and changing table from an Amish builder that should be ready before the baby arrives.  Rebecca decided to introduce me to the world of baby supplies and accessories at Babys-R-Us. Wow… who needs all that stuff. Sure somethings seems useful but how do y0u pick through what is practical and what isn’t, I’ll be consulting other parents.

The last Saturday of the month I went over and helped Brett on his basement, drywall..fun stuff. He was able, with Dads help, get the ceiling textured and should be ready to paint the following weekend. While they paint hopefully I can finish muding the walls and they can be painted the following weekend.
