November 2016

We started the month with school Fall festival and turned in bake good for the auction.  All proceeds were to help the 8th grade end of year trip.  It was a bit chilly, but we all had some fun and won items from the auction.  Then Isabel went to a friend’s birthday party that same weekend.  It was so nice to see them having fun since they have not seen each other for a while with going to different schools now they are both in Kindergarten. Isabel and I went to some craft shows and had some fun shopping.  Kindergarten had a special Thanksgiving meal with both classes. We parents volunteered to bring food and help serve kids.  Isabel’s class were the Indians and the other class were Pilgrims.  They both sand a song about their group and then said a prayer and set together to share.  Part of this she had to make outfits to wear, book about Thanksgiving and at home we shared things we are thankful for as we celebrated.  Isabel’s Sunday school class had a PJ party weekend before Thanksgiving, where they had a movie, snacks, and games all the kids had a great time.  Then later that day we celebrated another friend’s birthday.  Then headed into Thanksgiving week with pneumonia for me and cold for Tracy, but Thanksgiving was a nice time as usual.  Friday we went to the theater to see Cinderella it was Dad’s birthday gift from last month.  It was a good play and we had fun.  Then we did our annual cookie baking for the Christmas season.  We did cut back a bit due to being tired from all stuff going on, but got our goodies baked and put up until we need them for sharing.  We also got a letter from school for Isabel to join Orchestra starting the new year.

God Bless,

Rebecca, Tracy, Isabel, and Soda
