Tracy and I went to Cincinnati to do some shopping at IKEA in the beginning of the month.  Every time we have gone we always seem to find something we just can not live without which ends up filling our car.  We only take the Honda Civic down, but still the trunk and back seat are full.  We even visited with my friend Katie while we were in there.

This month I went to several craft shows and found some very nice things.  Nice way to find those last bit of Christmas shopping items.  Anyone that knows me well, can tell you I always have my Christmas gifts bought and usually wrapped by Thanksgiving.  Makes it easier for me to enjoy the whole month of December.

We put up the outside decorations for Christmas this month, since we had so many nice weather days over the weekends.  Many around us were doing the same thing especially the nieghbors that climb up on the roof to string lights.

At the end of the month we celebrated Thanksgiving as usual with the McCoys.  This year Tracy’s Uncle and Aunt were up from W. VA.  It was nice to visit with them.  Friday we do another big meal to celebrate with my mother’s cousins.  However, this year they were sick and unable to make it.  Tracy’s brother Dave joined us and we still ate and had a wonderful time though.  Saturday after Thanksgiving is our annual family cookie baking.  This was the fourth year and we baked 12 different kinds of cookies.  Took all day, but we had a great time and now have plenty of cookies to share.  Since my parents are up they have always baked with us and then we split the goodies so we each have plenty to share.  Some cookies go into the freezer until we are ready to use them and of course some get eaten very quickly.

That is all for this month.  God Bless.

Rebecca, Tracy, and Soda.
