March was very interesting in Ohio this year due to the warm weather.  We had rain some of the time and temperature up to the high 70s and last week freeze warnings.  Of course the pretty spring flowers came out and then some of them frosted later.  The month started out with rather quiet beginning.  Tracy and I took a Pansanko class (Egg Decorating) on a Saturday.   It was a fun time out together while Isabel was with the Grandparents.  We made two decorated eggs each.  Then the next weekend went north to celebrate Uncle Leon’s birthday.   That was a nice visit with everyone and good weather for the drive.  Great Grandma drove up with us and Isabel was entertained for the trip up and back.  Isabel enjoyed listing to Great Grandma sing and play some peek a boo.  That same weekend Soda got an abscess tooth, which was removed the following weekend.  She did well with the surgery, but for the first few days took it a bit slow.  Now she is back and full of energy and ready to rumble.  The last weekend of the month we had our church egg hunt.  This was Isabel’s first egg hunt and she gathered 13 eggs.  She was fun to watch when we came out and she noticed the eggs pointing them out.  Then once told to go ahead and pick some up she started to and placed them in her basket.  Before the egg hunt there was a pancake breakfast.  So we got full bellies and then fun watching the kids enjoy the egg hunts.  Afterwards we went for lunch and enjoyed some time with Grandma and Grandpa Rayer and Grandma McCoy.  Of course don’t forget the wonderful March Madness Basketball tournaments.  Ohio held well.

Isabel wore her St Patrick’s day outfit and was a hit with the ladies at daycare.  She is enjoying being outside and played with the boy next door one evening.  Every time we go out for walks she is pointing out new things she sees and wanting to touch all the pretty flowers around.  Isabel is more about wanting to feed herself and do things all on her own.  Fun and exciting to watch her grow every day and such a Blessing to be a part of it.

God Bless,

  Rebecca, Tracy, Isabel, and Soda
