The leaves are Falling October 2012

We started the first weekend of the month making apple sauce at our home with Tracy, Isabel, Grandma, Judy, Ross, and Rebecca.  It was a nice day out and having fun.  Then Isabel and I went to Chillicothe for the following weekend to give Tracy a full weekend of “me” time.  He had a wonderful time and then we ended that weekend celebrating our nephew’s birthday.  The down side to the weekend was Judy and Ross had to make an unexpected trip to Chicago to celebrate the life of the beloved Aunt Toot.  Although her passing was unexpected, what a Blessing she was to all her family and friends.  The following weekend we celebrated Dad’s birthday by going to The Works and making glass pumpkins.  It is a fun place and Isabel is always entertained with the activities the have there. We also made it to the zoo for Boo at the Zoo.  It was a nice day to be out and had fun seeing all the animals and kids in costumes.  Later in the week Tracy’s uncle Rich had an accident with an ATV.  He is healing and we keep them all in our prayers for a full recovery.  Then we made another trip to The Works to pick up our glass pumpkins and the turned out very nice.  We ended the month with a very cold Trick or Treat night with some rain to go with it.  Isabel went to a few house of our close neighbors and enjoyed getting treats.  She was a pink poodle for the evening.  The also had a Harvest party that day too.  The kids enjoyed all the goodies parents supplied for them to welcome Fall.

Isabel is growing every day and it is such a joy and blessing to watch to develop.  This month she is wanting to use the potty more frequent.  She likes to sing some we understand and some we do not, but with taking music classes that really keeps her interested.  When there are motions and movements to songs she is all about working her groove mover.  One of her favorite things to do outside these days is crunch leaves on the ground and check each one out to make sure there is no crunch left.

God Bless,

Rebecca, Tracy, Isabel, and Soda
